- The knob’s handle is now foldable,featuring spring-loaded ball detents for a comfortable grip. The folding mechanism preserves the original knurling pattern without compromising operation feel,potentially a first among similar products.
- The sliding mechanism incorporates a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and copper composite lubrication method,a pioneering feature in its class. This design achieves lubrication without oil,eliminating oil contamination. PTFE’s excellent high-temperature resistance ensures performance in extreme conditions,addressing lubricating film deterioration issues observed in previous models.
The SWEBO MicroMover LS001 maintains its outstanding 0.01mm displacement precision,achieved through a precision trapezoidal-threaded screw. Both front and rear support sections of the screw are equipped with miniature ball thrust bearings,an exceptionally rare attribute among comparable products.
The slide rail’s bottom features a standard Arca-Swiss quick-release plate structure,compatible with most tripod heads and allowing sliding adjustments for balance. For other types of tripods,a 1/4-inch threaded hole and positioning pin holes ensure compatibility and prevent unwanted movement.
